Registration is $9.00 per person. If you register before April 20th, registration fees will be discounted to $7.00 per person. All Boy Scouts and Adults attending Camp Wilson MUST register. REMEMBER: Registration forms and fees are due no later than April 20, 2016. Any unit registering after April 20, 2016 will be charged $9.00 per person.
Check in and registration will be open from Noon until 5:45 PM Friday only for the hike-in. Any troops not on the road hiking in by 5:45 PM will NOT be allowed to hike in. If you arrive after 5 PM up to 6 PM, please drop your scouts off at the campfire bowl (you can park your vehicles across the street off the road to unload). If you arrive to camp after 6 PM, you will need to report to the Adult Staff Headquarters Area for campsite assignments. There is too great of a safety danger having troops on the roadway after 6 PM (It takes an average of 1 hour for troops to hike in) There will be no check in or registration available for Troops on Saturday. Elks Flat Campground is the check in/registration point, watch for signs along the road. We highly recommend that your troop arrive as early as possible on Friday. The check-in will include checks of the troop tour plan. Please Note: All scouts must have health forms with them at check-in (short form is all that is required for less than 72hr campout). Your unit will pack with all their gear into Camp Wilson, approximately 1.5 miles, during which the troop will be judged on its scout spirit, teamwork, safety and ability to pack-in everything needed for the weekend. Points will be deducted for scouts who fail to pack in needed items. Two Deep Adult Leadership is REQUIRED for each Troop during the hike-in. A final check of your pre-registration package, any changes to your registration and fees for Camp Wilson Adult Leader Bar-B-Q tickets only will be collected prior to the hike-in. Either Camp Staff or other adult leaders will provide transportation to leaders to pick up vehicles left at Elks Flat campground during the hike in.
Please NOTE: no fees for the camp registration will be collected or returned at Camp Wilson by the Camp Wilson Committee staff. All registration fees must be mailed to the Boise Scout Office listed on the pre-registration form.
All Scouts and Leaders who plan on attending the Camp Wilson Bar-B-Q on Sunday must have a meal ticket. Youth Scout tickets are free; Adult Leader tickets will be available for purchase for $4.00 each during check-in or from the camp staff headquarters. Tickets will be issued with camporee patches after campsite inspections on Sunday Noon before the hike to the BBQ.
